time, with what was called the golden ceramic. In Malaga they nowadays conjugate the heritage of the traditional potteries with the creative ceramics that have incorporated modern craftsmanship. Among typical articles it is possible to emphasize well-known Malagan pottery (representation of figures and typical personages of the locality) and pottery vases, large flowerpots, lebrillos, oil lamps, plates, etc.
This sector is one which has evolved more and has adapted to the new demands of the global markets, proliferating the murals made on tiles, the pierced ceramics, the design of unique pieces combining other materials, and even the fashion accessories made in ceramics.
